10 ejemplos del presente simple pasivo
Como ya sabemos, el presente simple pasivo se forma con el auxiliar is / are + un participio pasado. Se usa cuando se quiere dar más importancia al objeto de la frase, no el sujeto.
This kind of tea is grown in China. (nos importa el té, no él que lo cultivó)
That bread is made in the bakery right down the street.
This blog is written on a MacBook.
Thousands of babies are born every day around the world.
Millions of pizzas are sold each week in the United States.
Tequila is made from a cactus called agave.
Las negaciones se hacen con isn’t / aren’t:
These lemons aren’t grown in Moscow, they’re grown in Alicante.
This wine isn’t made in France, it’s made in Spain.
Las preguntas se hacen con el objeto entre auxiliar y verbo:
What is tequila made of?
Where is this tea grown?
