Ejemplos de “going to” para hablar del futuro
En inglés, to be going to + infinitive se usa para hablar de planes del futuro, como vimos en la introducción a los tiempos verbales.
Para el auxiliar se usa el verbo “to be” conjugado según la persona.
I’m going to have a sandwich.
You’re going to have a sandwich.
He’s going to have a sandwich.
She’s going to have a sandwich.
We’re going to have a sandwich.
They’re going to have a sandwich.
La negación se hace con isn’t/aren’t o I’m not. Y la negación con el verbo “to be” antes del sujeto.
Ejemplos de afirmativo:
I’m going to see a concert on Friday.
She’s going to be in Thailand next summer.
They’re going to leave at 9 o’clock.
He’s going to make lasagne.
We’re going to watch the Simpsons.
Ejemplos del negativo:
He isn’t going to stay very long.
I’m not going to call her.
She’s not going to buy the house.
We’re not going to take a taxi.
They’re not going to get a raise.
Ejemplos de preguntas:
Where is he going to go on holiday?
Is she going to come to dinner?
Are you going to get married next year?
What are you going to do next weekend?
Who are you going to stay with?
