Verbos modales: Might

El auxiliar might se usa para expresar posibilidad.

I might go to Australia this summer. 

He might be at home, or he might be at work.

Se mantiene igual, indiferente de la persona, y se utiliza con el infinitivo.

I might try it.

You might try it.

He might try it.

She might try it.

We might try it.

They might try it.

Puede hablar del presente o del futuro, dependiendo de la expresion temporal de la frase o del contexto:

I might make a pizza tonight.

They might know where you can get the tickets.

He might be interested.

I might look for a new job next year.

Para negar, usamos might not:

He might not be there. 

She might not live in London anymore.

We might not see each other before I leave.

Y para preguntar se usa, normalmente, otra estructura:

Do you think he will be there?

Do you think she still lives in London?

Do you think we’ll see each other before I leave?

might + can = might be able to:

He might be able to help you.

She might be able to come later.

I might be able to buy it.

Finalmente, para hablar de posibilidades pasadas, se usa might + have + past participle:

She might have been asleep.

They might have got lost.

He might have misunderstood you.
