Comparativos
El comparativo se usa para comparar las calidades de dos cosas.
El comparativo en inglés tiene dos formas, uno para comparar adjetivos largos y otro para adjetivos cortos.
Adjetivos largos: (2 sílabas o más)
more + adj + than
I think Katherine is more beautiful than Sylvia.
Japanese is more difficult than Spanish.
Living in New York is more expensive than living in Phoenix.
Adjetivos cortos: (1 sílaba, o 2 si la palabra termina en -y)
(adj + -er +than)
I’m happier today than I was yesterday.
Bob is taller than Jim.
Oslo is smaller than Berlin.
Así vemos las dos formas: adjetivos cortos con un sufijo, y adjetivos largos que van procedido de more. Y todo seguido de la palabra comparativa than.

Existen unos irregulares, que no siguen las mismas reglas.
